I haven't tried them myself, but perhaps a future option as a 'get you home' plan.

I am my father's daughter (he's a HGV mechanic by trade - well he was, he's 84 now), so I am perfectly capable of changing a wheel 😇, in the dark, in the rain, on the side of the ring road, at 9pm 🙄

(I also, much to Muz's confusion, always demand a spare wheel with a new car - and now that's no longer an option, I buy one after the fact - because those foam things are next to useless if you tear your tyre on a pothole, which we aren't short of round here 😆.)
Foam things? WTF is that?
I do hate the goddam little spare tyres most new cars have in the boot. It's in a friggin well under a mat. How much more room is required to put an actual tire in the location?
New regs (I think on weight, but I could be wrong and I CBA to Google), mean most manufacturers are no longer providing spare wheels - not even space savers - with new cars.
I couldn't even add one as additional spec last time I tried. Instead you get a shitty sealant foam repair kit thing. :angry-cussingblack:

Having the brain of a squashed pea!! I know I have a rather good TENS machine at home, the type you can put two sets of leads on and has a lot of programs.

Can I remember where the fukker is, I cannot :( :(

There's also a book and a cross stitch pattern that are MIA too

I know I'm disorganised but that's mostly appearance in that I generally know exactly where stuff is. Even though the place looks like a bomb has hit it!

Quite annoyed at the lack of brain to find the the TENs machine remotely tho, that sucks as they don't have enough here for me to keep one in my room :(

Of course if I'd had half a brain I'd have been using it in the last six months to help the pain in my arm, but I had forgotten about that - so, whilst I know I saw it not 'that' long ago (before I crashed) I cannot for the life of me work out where I put it :( :( :(

Garden furniture, specifically seating, chairs, settees etc. Been out looking for a couple of settees, chairs, coffee table-type sets, and all I saw was some really cheap shite. That plastic rattan stuff seems to be made of coat hangers underneath the cheap plastic woven material! :wtf: The wooden sets we saw in The Range seemed to be made of pallet wood. :wtf:

I CBA to go to a garden centre on a sunny Sunday, but will maybe go tomorrow to see if their offerings are any better, but most things I see there are similar crap but with higher prices. My wife thinks I'm expecting too much from occasional-use furniture, and maybe she has a point, but I'm not parting with my hard-earned for the crap I've just seen.

Look for a cheap secondhand sofa locally, much more comfy, with the added bonus of scratter chic.

We have two sets.

First is two sofas, built up from modular stuff John Lewis used to sell. We bought two corner sections and a middle, to get end cushions on a 3 seater. The other is a two seater.

Despite being JL - and expensive - it didn't fit together easily :(

Second lot was bought as a set, including a cantilever parasol. From a place in Poole.

However ... We spent a long time trying stuff before finding acceptable comfort. I wouldn't buy unseen (unsat).

Also:

1. You'll need covers. They're expensive, leak, then tear (Gorilla Tape). Cushions are splash resistant, not waterproof, and take an age to try if the filling gets wet.

2. Where will you store the cushions? They take up space. We've bought a small 'two bicycles' shed to keep them in. Previously in black binbags in the loft - a faff.

We've been on the hunt last summer and now the boss is looking again.
She wants the stuff that is UK 365 days weatherproof - £6k upwards FFS. Didn't pay much more for the living room sofa!

Even with that, you'd probably still need covers, partly so the seat is dry when you want to sit, but also to keep bird crap, dirt, etc. off.

We have covers on the sofas with clip buckles around the front 'legs', tightened by Velcro straps. Actually patio set covers - companies selling the furniture don't seem to offer matched covers

Our patio suite is about 10 years old
The wicker stuff has failed in a couple of places.
It's not had to put up with weather as it's under the pergola.

A lot of 'rattan' is actually plastic over a metal frame.

Nick a couple of park benches and pop into Ikea for some cushions.

Sir already has sufficient garden furniture (see earlier post), including a 'Lutyens' bench bought last weekend.
