Re: utterly random picture thread.
Glad to see Witham is still hanging on.
My Dad (as he told it) once was sitting next to a young lad on the boat back from the Island who was constantly pulling clumps of hair out of his head and complaining about it.
It was Whitham, who'd been visiting the TT during his time off racing whilst he was undergoing chemo. My Dad hadn't recognised him at all!

Parked near this at B&Q yesterday, it a bit Fast and Furious, but the metal flake paint was amazing. Not what you'd expect on an S-Class.

If they made an estate version I'd be standing outside the dealers with a suitcase of cash.
For a big old barge they're incredibly capable thanks to the trick suspension.
(But I'd prefer the old V8 version

On January 28, 1961, Denis Law scored six goals for Manchester City in an FA Cup fourth-round tie against Luton Town, but the match was abandoned in the 69th minute due to a waterlogged pitch, wiping the goals from official records. City was leading 6-2, but lost the re-arranged fixture 3-1.Taipan wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 11:38 am 2nd January 1954. Arsenal goalkeeper Jack Kelsey peers into the thick fog. The Match: The game was a FA Cup 4th round tie at Kenilworth Road, home of Luton Town.
The Abandonment: Referee Ken Tuck called off the game after 69 minutes of play due to torrential rain and a pitch described as a "shallow lake".
The Record: Because the match was abandoned before completion, all goals and actions were erased from official records.
The Replay: In the rearranged fixture, Law scored again, but City lost 3-1, meaning he scored seven goals across two games, but still lost.
Aftermath: Law later joked it was his only time scoring six goals in a game, though he did technically score six, he technically lost, according to the Denis Law Legacy Trust.

Someone's nicked the bus stop.
PS. If you still in the area there a very good Bakery and Absinthe distillery in Dornie. It's worth a visit for the buildings too.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
Was just about to bash some balls around the garden for Ozzy when I saw a stick on the racket.
Looked closer and it was this lovely praying mantis.
Cool
