Friday. Going home on the 18.30 train. Which of course means still being at Euston at 19.05 staring at the departure board waiting for them to cancel the 18.30 at about 19.30. the 20.30 has seemingly been cancelled, last train is 21.10. We'll see when that one goes...

Saturday. Test drive in a nice car at 10. Which of course means that hopefully I'm at home in time to do that.

Sunday. Who knows. Possibly in a police cell following an altercation with a ticket inspector.

Have a week off in Cornwall, so beach walks, seeing relatives, a couple of trips to Dartmoor and trying not to think too much about it being the first time down here without popping in to see my Dad regularly.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Tis my birthday (today) and i have been sick a dog. Now on my 9th prescription of antibiotics for a UTI over a 9 week period.
With a local surgery who would seem to like to tick boxes, not read notes and generally patronise their patients. Referral to a urologist apparently will take months .
I now have a referral- only because i said i would pay.
Having a great few days 😬

GWS Mr M and you have my sympathy/empathy!

Let us know if this urologist is any good...I may have more business for them.

Took a punt on a cheap Holiday right at the start of the season, the week before we arrived was pretty crappy apparently and next week doesn't look great, been sunny and mid 20's all this week.

The hotel has been one of the best we've ever stayed in, big up to the Hotel Aqua.
Ha - we have an apartment in Icmeler and Yambo from this parish lives in Turunc just round the bay. You did well with the weather - it can be a mixed bag this time of year. We’re back out there in a couple of weeks.

Getting up early and getting the paddle board out soothes my soul.

Stopped off at Turunc on a boat trip, it was a bit of a building site, they're rebuilding the sea defense wall. Had a beer in beach bar that had the upstairs terrace.

Yeah, had some bad storms a couple of months ago and they’ve dragged their feet sorting it. Should be done before the season gets into full swing.
