The great unwashed of this country used to go to Spain and avoid the local cuisine in favour of a fry-up. Now they can't live without a fucking Gregg's for a fortnight.

In fairness, a bloody successful one. I wouldn't mind having a (meat)slice of their profits.

Yeah, but that's like saying Christianity is just a religion.
I don't get it, all they sell is nasty greasy shit but it's like a cult to the youth :silent:

Don't get me wrong I like a greasy sanger roll every once in a blue moon, but 2 billion quids worth of sales last year alone is nuts.

The New York Police Department bulldozed more than 200 scooters, mopeds, and motorbikes in Staten Island on Tuesday as part of the city's crackdown on illegal and unregistered bikes.

The NYPD said at least 5,700 'dangerous illegal vehicles' had been seized so far since the start of 2026, a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

It comes after a 7-month-old was killed by a stray bullet in a drive-by shooting in Brooklyn on 1 April, where the suspects fled the scene on an illegal moped.

“We couldn’t get the gun, or the suspect, but don’t worry - we got the moped”.

I wonder how many of them were stolen bikes…

Nice to know the fuzz made such gallant efforts to return them to their rightful owners.

Wouldn’t have made such impressive video, I suppose.

It is one of many everyday frustration facing the 43-year-old, whose struggle with weight began with an industrial accident. When Les Price recently flew to Ireland he had to pay for two seats – because he weighs 37st. Unfortunately, the airline’s policy on people weighing over 20st didn’t ensure a smooth ride. The seats weren’t even next to each other.“When I finally got on the plane one seat was an aisle seat and the other was by the window, in a three-seat row. “On the way back from Ireland one seat was in row 17 and the other in row 19!”
