With the engine that far back, i wonder how it handles.
There was one with a Harley engine running around London about 45 years ago. One cylinder was a Panhead & the other was a Knucklehead.
Years ago when I used to go to the Ace twice a week as lived 10 mins away, there was 1 with a Fireblade engine and this mate with a Gixxer 11 engine in them.

My Bradford pal just posted this pic of his new bike. He's over on Isle of Man for 3 weeks taking in the TT

Knowing him, it will be mint. He already has mint RC30 and YPVS350 in his house.

I've seen them - It was at Brighton IIRC, one of the Pioneer runs, or something similar - there was about 3 or 4 bikes like that (Featherbed with a modern IL4 in). When I saw them they were trying to get them all lined up on the prom for a photo.

Was up at Knockhill at a club meeting.

Sitting in the paddock was a nice clean 22 reg R7 with a for sale sign on for £4400.

I’m way too old for something like that but quite a bargain for someone at probably £2k under value.

While I was out and about on Sunday, a brand new R1300R parked up in front of me while I was chowing down on my sausage butty.

It's a big brute of a motorcycle.

The bit that stood out the most was the exhaust, I didn't take a picture at the time (cos I was gobbling sausage), but I've just found this on the BMW webshite...

You can't see it that well, but externally the end can is an elongated oval, it's quite cool.

EDIT:

Another!

1300cc and 145hp? Makes you wonder just how far they can go with that flat twin engine (that they tried to pension off not that long ago).

Have you been up close to the GS with the big tank? It makes a Goldwing look normal.

Irrelevant, it will be ridden by some old duffer who can barely break the speed limit... kinda like the muppet on the Panigale who got his ass handed to him by a rapidly ridden* '83 GPz11 a few weeks ago..

* ok, I may have been in "dispatch mode" which tends to happen when I see bikes ahead of me... ;)

Who knew that Katoom made an SM on the 390 platform, I didn't?

Interesting that it's a shed load cheaper than the Suzuki DRZ-SM and more powerful.

Looks like fun.
