He must be loaded as he's paid to have his parking space painted to match the go-faster stripes on his motor.

Saw this price list earlier for a pretentious beach front bar.

Who'd buy a bottle of gin?

And the champagne prices? No Bolly darling :(

£120 for a bottle of £50 Veuve Cliquot?

That's a nice rake off.

Work in progress, We're about 6 weeks in since planting and all of the fish are now in. The small plants at the front will take a while to fill in the gaps but it is getting there slowly.

Shrimp are the only thing that will be added in the short term.... Unless I fancy more plants on the log.

A Mangbetu woman with elongated head - photo from 1930's (colorized)
The Mangbetu people of Congo, Central Africa, were known for their elongated heads which they used to deform intentionally by applying force (tight wrapping) to babies skulls, a practice known as Lipombo. They believed that this pleased the Gods and was a sign of beauty. This practice died out by the 1950's.
Intentional cranial deformation predates written history; it was common in a number of cultures that are widely separated geographically and chronologically, including ancient Egyptians, the Maya, the Inca, Huns, Kushans, Aboriginal Australians, and still occurs today in a few places like Vanuatu
