Fuck Crocs, I need a new pair of Cartago flipflops.

I bought a pair in Mallorca and they're the most comfortable flipper floppers EVER!

However they've worn out super quick, I guess from being so soft and comfortable. Can I find the same in the UK, can I fuck!

Amazon have them, but not the same ones and they're mega bucks!

Crocs are ok for certain things, on a campsite and you're going to the shower for example. For plastic shoes I prefer Birkenstock.

I've still got my 2 pairs of Crocs knock-offs - 'Holey-soles' that Editor was selling back in VD days.

They were really useful on bike tours. Light, multi-purpose, waterproof/washable etc.

Crocs have just gone fashiony and are daft prices.

I'm not a fan in general, I just prefer to bimble about in barefeet; but I found the other day that the wood of the terrace is too hot in the sun for barefeet!!

So now I need ot find something to wear on the terrace and also needed for going to the shed (across the grass).

Crocs seem like a reasonable solution as I can leave them by the door and just put them on for going outside. But Fck they are not cheap outdoor shoes!!

LeClerc had some cheap things a bit like Crocs, so I'll probably end up there

I'm still sad I lost my Crocs slippers in my second chalet winter - they were like mule slippers but crocs and with a fluffy removable lining. Still peeved that one of the guests nicked those - can't find them online anymore :( :( They'd be pretty perfect :( (just take out the lining for summer!!)
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

Alternatives to the Croc empire (and a bit more substantial). I have a pair of the 'clogs' for traversing the dangerous territory between house and cabin.

Ain't. :P

Boots for everything aside from the shower or bed.

It'll be a slippers thread next. :(
