Woke up feeling very hungover. The wife and I sat outside until very late and drank much more than we realised!

Re: What have you done today thread?
Was up late (cos went to bed much later than usual!) so sat outside in the shade cos the sun was too hot!
Back in and hung some curtains!! Ok, had to take down some curtains I put up the other day (big hoop things in the curtains, so easy to put on the rail) because I realised that actually a net curtain there in the summer was best (in the winter I close the shutters on that window).
So, took down the nets on the window that doesn't need them; took down the curtains on the other window and put up the nets; then put the curtains up where the nets had been !!!
Use of step ladder !! I know I get the look from friends here, but it's satisfying to be able to do small stuff like that

Filled up the camper with stupidly expensive diesel and packed it with our food, clothes, etc., already for next week's jaunt to the west country!

Re: What have you done today thread?
Just finished shifting two cubic yards of hardwood logs for winter fuel. Log store is pretty much full to the brim.
Now about to commence the mammoth task of ironing work shirts, t shirts, chinos, jeans and, if I can be arsed, two lots of super king sized bedding.
Got a dog walk planned this afternoon with daughters and they are taking me for dinner at the (very) local curry house.

Got up late, been to Outlaws to sort out various IT issues. Mowed lawn, fiddled with bike and BBQ later.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Enjoyable hoon on the ZRX & then damn near broke my leg riding the last 18inches...
Pulled into the garage & rode straight into the Baxley chock. I park the bikes REALLY close together, but this time because I was still on the ZRX instead of pushing it from the left side I managed to crush my right leg between the right (non-folding rear-set) on the ZRX11 & the left footpeg on the GPz11... which doesn't fold forward. Got some spectacular bruising

Re: What have you done today thread?
Made an executive decision...
I'm going to buy it... assuming someone doesn't beat me to it in the next day or two
AND... I'm going to leave it looking like that, but with a new seat, tires, pods, fluids, turn signals & battery (he says.... HA!)
But: It depends if I can stash it across town with the GPz750 for a while...

On the hottest day of the year so far, I decided to do a full service on the GS.
I'm utterly fucked now.

Drying nicely. Turned it over this morning. Reckon it'll be good to go back inside by tomorrow.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I hung a load of washing out. 40 mins later I had to bring it back in as could see the rain on it's way
Thunder and lightening now, just waiting on the rain
