Yeah I saw a really decent one last year high 20k miles, black like mine and with stainless pipes. Mine was a great bike, I bought it brand new in 1999. And the headlight was absolutely crapBigyin wrote: Fri Dec 04, 2020 6:39 pm Their major fail is the headlights on the ones like mine are appalling but that can be rectified with a couple of changes and the subsequent models were a lot better

Was a chilly, murky, slippery 100 miles today, warmed up a little at Jacks Hill cafe then back home for a mammoth cleaning session

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
This was a trip to Perth and I got parked really easily. Last time I was here there was a box van parked right across the motorcycle bay. I was mollified to see a parking ticket on his windscreen! Had to find another parking bay however!
This is a good way to do Xmas shopping, but the roads round here have a fine mixture of oil and mud on them - you can see it gleaming in the light between the car wheel tracks........

Popped out for a bottle of milk, but went the long way round.
And both Harry and Yorick reminded me that I must find a decent poolman before spring..

150 miles today taking in Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud and Kemble. Mainly good dry roads but a few filthy ones thrown in too

I can smell the salt induced rust fest from here.

Great day on the lanes of southern England today with Crust and the boys- whilst the going could be described as distinctly soft, and the chalk just slightly mega slippy
, the weather was nigh on perfect - all in all, another brilliant day

12 days since someone posted?? Surely people are still riding? It was 3C when I set off for a couple of hours of fresh air and brain cleansing therapy. Heated grips are good but heated seats keep your core warm and so the warm blood keeps flowing to all your extremities. Essex was flooded! I had times where the water was spraying up over the mirrors and even the rear collar of my gear was wet! A great ride out.

You've inspired me to get out on mine tomorrow- roads are shitty and covered in salt here, but it's been far too long, I will be out on a bike!

I was on the Big Reg Bus today, 3c and it tipped it down.
I didn't care. I think it's because the BRB was so cheap, I can actually enjoy it without thinking about what the salt is doing to the resale.

It was snowing here. Not a chance that I would take a Ducati out in that

I'm still using mine daily, albeit only to the station and back but I'll claim that....

I took this pic of the missus today. The view there is one of my favourite on the island. Her phone camera is good and I think I caught it
The cliffs behind run for about 10 miles and are 2,000 ft at the highest point.
