Ah you see it works really well in hot countries where things dry very quickly and you get them on the line fast. Never ironed anything where we were over in Perth, Oz for the same reason. In the UK things seem to dry with more wrinkles in, unless it’s really warm. Thankfully it has been for all of May, so less ironing needed.Yorick wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 5:56 pmPen hangs stuff on the line, then straight onto hangers in wardrobe. No ironing necessary.WelshDragon wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 4:26 pmOh some things just have to be ironed but I’m not as bad as my Mum. She used to iron my Dad’s socks!Yorick wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 1:52 pm

We've just had the BBQ re-lined and they took off about 140 dirty fire bricks. So Mrs Y put them on local FB selling page asking for offers. Lady just came and gave us 70€.
Saves me taking them to the tip

Have the granddaughter staying with us. She's 9 months and teething.
She has finally went to sleep.
This makes me very happy.
Also my youngest boy has got himself bitten by the motorcycle bug. He's wanting a bike of his own, still trying to convince his mum.

A couple of phone calls, a couple of messages and 2 of my friends have interviews with the company I work for.
Just considering asking the company for a finders fee

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.
Multi bike policies. Insurance quotes for the soon-to-arrive Speed Twin were coming in at over £250 because my max NCB is tied to my Harley (which I insure for £86/year, and I've also got separate policies for the T140 and Z650 at £46 and £79 respectively) so potentially an annual bill of £461, but transferring to a multi bike policy via Bennetts will cost a total of £207 and I'll get £53 back from cancelling the others so a net £154 for four bikes for the next year . Happy enough with that

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.
During this next week, all the Cesar Manrique 'natural' attractions around the island are free for residents.
They're all amazing, but we don't go coz they're €10 to get in and normally full of tourists.
So will be nice to visit them all for a quiet experience.
Gonna be a busy week.
