This made me laugh. But only cos someone was slightly critical of my casual shoes the other week, apparently they looked like shoes that were worn for PE at school (they don't look like anything I wore for PE, but he was at school 20 years later than me!)

I looked at his feet and just replied with - how can you criticise my shoes when you're wearing Sandals!!

His reply was along the lines of - how dare you, these are Birkenstocks :angry-cussingblack:

They just look like sandals to me! :angelic-green:
And that's exactly what they used to be, ugly, well-made, comfy, rather frumpy German sandals and popular with hippy types. Now they're an 'aspirational' fashion brand owned pretty much by luxury goods outfit LVMH (Louis Vuitton Möet Hennessy). Cost a lot more than they used to and are made in China. :( (But still comfy :D ).

S'alright, nippy enough, decent screen etc.
You need to spend 5 minutes deleting all the Honor crap off it, but after that it does what I need.

Got a Toshiba just now and the touch screen is a hit or a miss if its working or not. Life is to short to look into changing that so chuck it and buy another.

An electric knife sharpener, Chefs Choice 1520. Quick and easy to use, 90% of what I could get with a stone in 10% of the time.
