Post by Dodgy69 »

HTF do you get rid...Its in MILs borders and grows very fast. I got some root's out the other week but it's back with a vengeance. Grows in borders and lawns. It has white roots. Well i think it's ground elder. 🤷‍♂️

Agent Orange! :D

Looks like ground elder to me and it's an absolute :angry-cussingblack:

The RHS* is my go-to for plant info so...

https://www.rhs.org.uk/weeds/ground-elder

I like their suggestion that it's not so evil so, in future, I'll leave it and pat myself on the back because it's good for wildlife.

*If you're a member they'll respond to individual queries about stuff and we've used that facility a few times. (Membership makes sense for us 'cos their main place at Wisley is in easy reach).
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

Take off and nuke the site from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure!
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
