Car oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter (Halfords & Opie Oils)
3 bottles of bourbon and 2 bottles of rum (Amazon).
Razer keyboard, necessity rather than a want, but still on sale (Amazon).

I bought a Wiim Pro streamer, that I am not convinced I need - but at 116 quid rather than 149 from Amazon, I can send it back once buyers remorse kicks in.
A Scopion ADF 9000 helmet from Sportsbikeshop - 210 GBP rather than 340 ish. And as a confirmed Arai man I am impressed with the build.

Titan vacuum cleaner from Screwfix, £10 off for BF, to replace the one I killed when I was in France last time.

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
See?! You can only afford one question mark!
OK, serious reply: fuck all, because there are very few moments when the stars align to provide the opportunity to buy something I specifically want/need at that specific time, and because BF 'deals' are rarely anything other than a smoke and mirrors attempt to make you think you're getting something at an unrepeatable price, which you're not, and which you'll probably stash away and never use. I'm directing that last sentence at Taipan specifically.

I'm similar, there's not much I really want or need.
Maybe a milliand paaand haaause.
And I would like a Lexus LC500. Used ones of those seem to have gone up by about 25% in the last 18 months though.

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
I cannot stand Black Friday. Absolute made up horseshit. A local shop said they were actively not engaging in Black Friday and they had people queueing around the block (some women's haberdashery)
I purchased 4 Pianta grow lights. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this purchase (part of our house don't get a great deal of natural light)
They weren't on BF either- but I thought I'd mention it

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
I dislike Black Friday as much as anyone (British), and I'd agree that most discounts are a rip-off in that things are charged at what they ought to be.
Some stuff, like all Amazon's sub-brands (Ring, Kindle etc) are now at the point where you have to wait for BF or Prime Day to get the 'real' price, like a DFS sale, and a lot of the big brands (Ninja, Sonos etc) have followed suit.
That said, I've found some genuinely good discounts this year and have splashed out a fair bit, way more than ever before. Just ordered a camera lens I wasn't planning to buy for a while cos it was a genuine 20% off, likewise two pairs of Loake boots that were over 50% off in one case. Plus some Sonos stuff I've been holding off buying until a sale, and a couple of Ring cameras likewise. Plus an air fryer for my mum's Christmas present, natch.
So there. I've become one of them.

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
In the end I bought a computer, some hardware peripherals and some software. All of which I would have bought anyway but, in theory, I've saved a few £'00 because of 'deals' but we needed them now so...lucky me.
Spent the day setting the stuff up. What a fandango...phones going ping! every 5 minutes. 'Here's your code' or 'Is it really you?' (It's not my PC, I'm setting it up for the missus but I used my accounts to buy/download stuff, so 2 mobiles on the go.
)
Still, pleased with the result.

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
Black friday has saved me a lot of money. Over a week ago, I was going to buy a new Phone 17 Pro, but decided to wait for black friday. Now its here, my attention span for new phone owning has run out and I no longer want one!

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
Oh, I forgot....I did make a valid saving. £5/pair on 6 pairs of socks.
(Which I was going to buy anyway, but might have settled for 5 pairs at full price).

Spunked a few quid!
Most expensive being a Belstaff Trailmaster jacket and a gilet liner.
Also quite tragically, my wife and I both came away with the same Adidas trainers!

Re: Black Friday deals, what do you have ?
I was actually looking for a deal on a phone. Sod all tickled my back pocket enough to make my money pop up as i was looking at phone specs to my old Galaxy S23 ultra to what was on offer i decided to look at laptops. Present HP Envy works fine for my need and only needs a new battery so sod it. Friday night i decided to buy beer and watch an old Marc Bolan documentary.Taipan wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 5:36 pm Black friday has saved me a lot of money.
