Friday thread, the Payday end of May..
In truth, i have no clue at all.
Fri i'm trying to chill as my legs are dead from too much pedalling. Maybe BBQ for tea in the garden.
Sat i expect will involve bicycles... but where and when i dunno
Sun is Winchester at 6am as the boy has his driving test in 2 weeks there as a late booking swap. So we need to go help him get familiar with the area.

Currently on an apple farm near Chelmsford.
Today: I will be going to the cafe, browsing the farm shop and "the animal area". Chilling and taking it easy for the rest of the day.
Tomorrow: is the club's team ride, BBQ and piss up. Nuff said.
Sunday: Bacon sandwiches and last leg home.

Re: Friday thread, the Payday end of May..
WFH today, pop to see the parents tonight as I was away in the week.
Saturday: need to do some gardening, mates for dinner/pool admiration
Sunday: more gardening/maybe some painting
Interspersed with that lot I want to get out on the bike, and I need to do luggage research/shopping for the upcoming tour - it'll be the first time doing a tour on a small bike, so I need to engage my brain and work out a plan...

We were supposed to be away in the camper, but cancelled as my daughter wants us to go to a wedding fayre with her and her other half. Their excitement is pretty infectious, so i'm looking forward to it.

Sneaky plug coming up...Wife does loads of these with her part time business. Personal wedding bags. Not going to put a link up as not sure it's allowed, but if you want any info, let me know and I'll PM the details to you. They're quite impressive.Taipan wrote: Fri May 29, 2026 12:52 pm We were supposed to be away in the camper, but cancelled as my daughter wants us to go to a wedding fayre with her and her other half. Re: Friday thread, the Payday end of May..
At the F’s for a couple of days so mostly gardening yesterday and today, now in the garden with some beer.
Tomorrow, home, shopping delivery, tidy up my garden, wash the car, chill!!
Sunday, back on earlies so up at sparrow fart, in fact before then!!
Had a very busy and stressed filled couple of weeks, the kind of work that means people don’t go home so could honestly do with a few easy days.
Enjoy, have fun,
Mick

Tomorrow is visiting the bank to get the cash for a half share in a rented boatshed and buying the boat that's floating in it. Probably cutting firewood too and other excitments.
Sunday is selling excess tat at a nearby Flohmarkt.

Re: Friday thread, the Payday end of May..
Today I went out for a 2 hour motorcycle ride from 05:30 to 07:30, had 2 incidents with hares, avoided a few squirrels and wondered which way a deer was going to run, then I changed the oil on my Honda, mowed the grass, now I'm relaxing. Tomorrow I might go to the zoo.
