So many to choose from.

I love Star Trek, but only the d'deridex class warbird ever stood out as being a cool design.

Starwars was full of cool stuff, Y-Wings, B-Wings, Slave One.

In B5 it's got to be the Starfury.

The Valkyrie (etal) Variable fighters from Macross are pretty cool.

With regards to the OP....gotta be the Enterprise D from TNG. Why? Because its got whales on board...mentioned only ever so slightly in two throwaway lines of dialogue throughout the whole series.

And of course the Millennium Falcon, X-wing, Y-wing and B-wing. Not a fan of the Tie fighters though.

I like them when they look 'battle worn' and damaged, like a machine would after several series and a movie reboot.

As a kid I recall having a book that my mum got me from M&S. I must have been 7 or 8 at the time I reckon, but it was a big, glossy book with full page illustrations of fictional 'space disasters', with the narrative written in a very factual way giving the history of the ship, the disaster that befell it, casualties, etc. I was transfixed and read it from cover to cover over and over. Can't recall who did the illustrations, but they looked very similar to other stuff I've subsequently seen.

Thunderbird 5 is more of an orbital station, TB3 was the spaceship.
