Great project. And it is cool to see that you are doing things properly.
A good mate of mine has a ZX9R C (I think that it is a C model), anyway, it has factory standard immaculate blue candy paint, ZX10R front forks and brakes, a Z750 wheel (that looks like a ZX10R wheel, but cost a lot less),a ...

Re: What have you done today thread?
I have just tried out my new LIDL lazer leveller toy. I mean tool.
I could not work out why the lazer was flashing on an off, so pulled the instructions out of the bin. :D Now after a press of the button it works great.
For £14 it looks like it will come in handy for helping to lay out pinstripes ...

This for some reason reminded me of a crap joke.
What is blue and smells like red paint?
Answer. Blue paint.
That is a crap joke.

If only I had made my Mrs do a test when I met her.
Rather than just look at her other fab attributes.
When she is trying her best to do a crossword, three letters... "Feline character, C something T... "
Never mind. She makes me a nice cup of tea, twice a year. One cup on my birthday and another ...

Hmm... Friendship exam test?
I am going to the local pub for the weekly bike meet up. Everybody so far that I have met and chatted too seem to be (on the surface) pretty nice.
But, to work out who is friend material and worth hanging out with I am tempted to type out and then make them sit a "friendship" exam/test.
A few ...

Re: Suzuki GSX thing.
This is going on the back burner (again). I have decided that other projects are more pressing and more important.
I need to do this thing.

Re: Wind blown out of my sails...F***!!
I am sorry for your loss and know of Andrew and the search that had taken place when he went missing.
Very sad news and a very much liked guy locally.
Thanks for that Big Red. I am still at a total loss as the news hit me like a ton of bricks.
When I read the news (from a Scottish online news ...

Re: Wind blown out of my sails...F***!!
I recently lost a mate who I've known since the start of secondary school, so thats 42 years. It's been quite a blow, and I went his funeral last Monday.
We used to go camping up in the fells and as it was when we had spare time it somehow ended up being between Christmas and New Year.
Always ...

Re: Wind blown out of my sails...F***!!
I was kind of done with this (with respect to Andrew of course), but things it seems have come to light and I think that I may have jumped the gun when I said or thought it was the Big C that took him?
Well, having a look online, I have just read something from his daughter (I believe) from the 19th ...

Re: What have you done today thread?
I was feeling a bit down in the dumps today so after contemplating a few options (mainly bike buying even though I have zero space!) I bought myself a new private reg for my Hayabusa project. There is method in my madness. I am planning on selling the bike once I actually get the thing finished, and ...

Re: Wind blown out of my sails...F***!!
It’s strange how grief sneaks up on you like that, one minute you're hyped about finishing something for a mate, next you're just... hollow. You can really feel how much Andrew meant to you in the way you talked about those projects. That kind of connection doesn’t come around often.
And that ...

For me, I think I will draw my thoughts to a close with this.
Last week I met Simon (Youtube Channell Songs from the Saddle), and last night I was watching some of his videos. One of which kind of struck a thought into my head. Momento Mori, which I had not heard before, which apparently is Latin ...

Thank you all for your comments.

I am going to start with "F***!!!!!".

I've had a quick look at Mumsnet.
I might post a question on there to see what advice they would give?
My question;
In Scotland it is illegal to smack your child, no matter how naughty they have been. Would it be acceptable to drive down to the Scottish border and back into Britain where smacking ...

They have a lot of similar queries on Mumsnet.
“Would this be rude?”
Not that I read Mumsnet, obviously.
Hmm... I need to check out what Mumsnet is? I wonder if they can offer advice on how to empty your tenna pants at the side of the road without causing any accidents. Not for me of course ...
