Last night I finished Heartbeat. Yes, all 363 episodes since Covid lockdown.
Always loved it and every episode was chilled, humerous and politics free.

And filmed in God's own country. :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Series 1 or series 2? There's usually a shooty bit every 3 episodes.

It's generally broken down into arcs. There's the set up episode where we meet new people, then the holding episode where they all faff about and then the action episode where it gets all shooty. That said. the 3rd arc is 4 episodes so there are 2 episodes of faffing about.

I do worry about the erosion of attention spans you know :D

The reason Andor is so good is because it actually has a plot, character motivations which make sense, people taking actions as a result of their feelings and experiences, changing their behaviour because of their lived life. You know, an actual story :lol:

BTW I noticed the McLaren Technology Centre again in a recent episode, it's playing a different building this time.

Stuff happens in every episode.

Guess it depends on whether you consider anything other that action "stuff" :D

Plenty happened in the last couple of episodes, probably the best Star Wars stuff since The Empire Strikes Back. Not a high bar to clear recently though TBF :lol:

Despite all the action my favourite bit was just when they were flirting around with the force in the story and the music had the first 2 notes from the start of "The Force Theme".

I admit it's not all pew pew but little touches like that really make it for me :obscene-birdiedoublered:

The actress who plays Pegdra did the voice for Yennefer in Witcher 3. Mind blown;

Dedra?

Yep, that last few groups of Andor episodes were fantastic. Possibly some of the best TV I've seen in a long time.

It's Pegdra, cos Dazzle reckons she's got a strap on.

The Last Laugh. It had Chevy Chase and Richard Dreyfuss in, so I thought i'd be an easy watch with a few laughs. i was wrong and bailed on it after about 20 minutes.

Just watched The Liver King. I'd heard of him, sort of, but didnt realise what phenomenon he'd become. He told a few porkies over steroid use but earnt a fortune on the back of his influencing lifestyle.
