Just the right specs for riding to a country pub in a leisurely fashion for a half of mild.
Compare with Morini 1200 Scrambler - sub 200kg & about 120bhp, I just ignore the lack of factory backup and keep my fingers crossed

But then my target was something that has the look of a 60’s Triumph but the ease of use of a modern bike.
That’s why I went for the 900 over the 1200 in the first place.
Swapping the original cheap plastic mudguards and a few other bits wasn’t an issue, and a few years back I was talking to one of the guys involved in the original design for the 900 at the last revamp in 2016. Fitting low cost cosmetic parts was a result of the brief to make it easy to customise.
I’m not sure this latest iteration, follows that, maybe down to the EU homologation rules, making this much more difficult now.

Pistons are lead alloy, the frame is bent from scaffolding pole.
