Compare with Morini 1200 Scrambler - sub 200kg & about 120bhp, I just ignore the lack of factory backup and keep my fingers crossed

221kg and a single disk suggests it's under braked too surely?

64 bhp ain't much from a 900. Voge get 93 from an 800. Benelli get 74 from a 754 cc. Still, 64 will probably be plenty, even for those quicker ( 60 - 80 ) overtakes that do come into play.

Nice looking, still not sure about the straight high level exhaust. How much?

The old one was just under £10k, I think this one is just over £10k.

My 650 Gold Star makes 45bhp and was just under £5k

Stick another 20 on that 45 and it'll go well enough. 10k I'm out.

I like what they’ve done with the rear end, but not the gold USD forks.

But then my target was something that has the look of a 60’s Triumph but the ease of use of a modern bike.
That’s why I went for the 900 over the 1200 in the first place.

Swapping the original cheap plastic mudguards and a few other bits wasn’t an issue, and a few years back I was talking to one of the guys involved in the original design for the 900 at the last revamp in 2016. Fitting low cost cosmetic parts was a result of the brief to make it easy to customise.

I’m not sure this latest iteration, follows that, maybe down to the EU homologation rules, making this much more difficult now.

I don't mind it, but I'm not keen on the graphics. Also, I particularly hate the new dash, I can't find any pictures online, but I think it looks a bit cheep and 1980's Saisho, combine that with the fact it's not centred really annoys me. It's the same dash as they have on the new Speed Twin.

Pistons are lead alloy, the frame is bent from scaffolding pole.

And people complain about the weight of leccie bikes!
