If it has damper rod forks they don't have compression damping, only rebound.

Yep, that's what you have to do with cartridge emulators.

Found my old Fakerapovic of my old nc750x in the shed-of-plenty! Might bung it on to see how it sounds! It’ll look a bit shite on brand new bike though, so maybe not!

Took it off and bunged it in the shed-of-plenty without cleaning it. It'd clean up okay for sure, but I always thought it looked too small for the bike?

Its a sound I miss. I might clean this one up and if it comes up clean enough, put it on and see how it sounds? Then if I like hearing it, maybe treat it to a Black Widow 300mm one as they're only £200?

Just clicked past 1000 miles now. Still miss cruise control. I've adjusted to the power drop from the AT though. Being on 17" wheels and a much lower CoG makes it a much easier bike in traffic. Its a very competent commuter and I cant see it going anywhere as its doing exactly what I thought it would do, and what I bought it to do. Only thing I might change it for, is if the next model they release has cruise control?

You want an Atlas Lock, they're a bit spendy for what they are and I'm sure you can probably get a Temu version for a tenner.

I need actual cruise control. I go through a few average speed camera sections, and it dead handy, when you're in one, to have CC doing the work for you!

I dislike the rider modes on the bike. You have Standard, Sport, Rain (ffs who needs rain mode on a sub 60bhp bike :wtf: ) User 1 and user 2. User 1 and 2 are programmable.

So my issue is Standard mode changes gear too quickly and only has 3/4 of available power. Sport has full power, hardly any engine braking and the gear change point is extended so it changes up much later and down earlier. What I'm looking for is a combo of standard and sport, or standard with full power is actually it. So I messed around and set User 1 to be just that. I'm pleased with that.
