PS. If you still in the area there a very good Bakery and Absinthe distillery in Dornie. It's worth a visit for the buildings too.

Was heading south. Never properly ventured round Dornie TBH as it always looks shut. Had a few nights in the bar, The Clachan when staying up at Kyle of Lochalsh. Dont know if the still do it but a free bus is put on to fetch and carry customers. We would go early and have dinner and stay for the bands. Usually local traditional Scottish music but the place was thumping with good crowds.

20 minute walk over the bridge to Ardelve is a great little camp site. No pub, shops just a toilet/shower block. Turn up and pitch. Someone will come round in the evening for your pitch fee. Great unspoilt scenery with an Eilean Donan Castle view and blissfully quite. Love the area.
