notebooklm

Post by dern »

Here's something you'll either find interesting and useful or decry as the work of the devil...

Open up notebooklm, add sources such as your workshop manual and youtube videos about servicing your bike and then you can ask it questions such as...

It even provides links for you back to the documents and videos you gave it.

That one.
If it's 'learning' from the sources you give it access to, why don't you just go to those sources first and look up the answer and avoid any potential 'AI' hallucinations.

Because it can summarise and cross reference in a way that's interesting and useful. Also, as it gives you the references, you can verify the answers. Obviously the examples given were relatively simple.

I was going to surprise my wife with a 15 minute podcast on how to change the wipers on a 2010 Range Rover this weekend. Living the dream.

15 minutes, does that include a 12 minute lecture on the history of wiper blades?
